Become a Habitat Homeowner

Next Home Applicant Meeting

TO BE DETERMINED

THE FIRST STEP: ATTEND AN APPLICATION MEETING

All applicants are encouraged to attend an application meeting in order to qualify for the Home Ownership Program. Application meetings are held twice a year, usually in April and October, but contact the office to confirm the next date.

PROGRAM: HABITAT PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR FAMILIES TO BECOME HOME BUYERS
  1. Our aim is to create an environment of strength, stability, and self-reliance for everyone

  2. Habitat is not a handout, it’s a hand up. Zero percent interest mortgage loans keep the homes affordable. Habitat is a nonprofit organization. Mortgage payments are used to build more homes.

  3. Habitat builds simple, decent, energy efficient homes with 3 or 4 bedrooms, depending on family size. All homes are built in Saline County, many of which are located in Habitat's Partnership Village, located south of downtown Benton.
